• Information from Google Authentication: When you sign in using your Google account, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture URL from Google. We store your email and display name to identify your account.
• User-Provided Information:
• Notion Credentials: To connect to your Notion workspace, you must provide a Notion API Key and a Database ID. Your API key is encrypted before being stored in our database.
• URLs for Clipping: We collect the URLs of the web pages, documents, and videos you submit to the App for processing.
• Automatically Generated Information:
• AI-Generated Content: Our App uses Generative AI to process the content from your submitted URLs. This includes creating summaries, extracting key entities (like people, places, and organizations), generating page icons, and creating cover images. This generated data is stored and linked to your account.
• Usage Data: We may collect analytics data about your interactions with the App to help us improve our services.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To Provide Core Functionality: To authenticate you, connect to your Notion account, and create and enrich pages in your Notion database as you request.
• To Improve the App: To understand how you use the App, to diagnose issues, and to make improvements to our features and user experience.
• To Communicate with You: We may use your email address to send you important information about your account or the service.

3. How We Store and Protect Your Information

• Data Storage: All your data, including your profile information and clipping history, is stored in Google's Firestore database.
• Encryption: Your Notion API key is a critical piece of information. We encrypt it using industry-standard AES-256 encryption before it is saved to our database, ensuring it is protected at rest.
• Security: We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

4. Third-Party Services

The App relies on several third-party services to provide its functionality:

• Google (Firebase & Google AI): We use Firebase for authentication, database storage (Firestore), and application hosting. We also use Google's Generative AI models (via Genkit) to process your content. Your use of the App is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
• Notion: To create and manage pages, the App interacts with the Notion API using your provided credentials. We are not responsible for Notion's data handling practices.
• ImgBB: We use the ImgBB service to host the AI-generated cover images for your Notion pages. Images uploaded to ImgBB are subject to their terms of service and privacy policy.

5. Your Data Rights

You have control over your personal information and can manage it in the following ways:

• Access and Update: You can access and update your profile information, including your Notion connection details and custom classification settings, at any time within the App's "Settings".
• Data Deletion: You can delete your Sifler account and associated data by contacting us. Deleting a profile within the app will remove it from our database. Deleting your account will remove all your data.
